My Brother!!

At our wedding reception..My brother Brian stood up..and I wondered..hmmm..what's going on??..and then Nicola stood next to him..which was even more strange..as these two had only met the day before..WOW!..they became friends quickly?? hehe..

and this is what they read.  A very special message from my brothers and sister in Canada.  Brian in English and Nicola in German.  I had been missing them so much.

Ladies and Gentlemen

You have before You a very special couple.

A couple who have travelled around the world looking for each other.

A couple who have at tmes lived miles apart and yet it seemed as though they were so close.

These two people met in China and have continued to travel the world ever since with Julian taking Karen to places that she would never have gone and Karen taking Julian to places like Canada where he may never have gone.

This is just the beginning of their world of travels and adventures together.

Only a few of Julian's Canadian family have had the privilege of meeting him but with the exciting reviews of the visit, the rest of his Canadian family are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to meet their new brother-in-law.  

We wish we could be with you on this very special occasion and want you to know that we are thinking of you at this very moment.

Karen and Julian...congratulations and please raise your glass and have a toast with Karen's siblings and Julian's new sister and brother-in-laws.

OMG..I am overwhelmed as i type this out!  The love i can feel from my brothers and sister..wow! And to think of all the people who now know Julian and I so well..and my own brother and sister in Western Canada have not yet met him.

Julian and I agree..this will change soon.

A STORY!!

When we invited my siblings to our wedding..and each one..after weeks of careful consideration..explained why they were not able to make such a big, long journey!!...and i understood..i didnt want to understand:), but i did!..and i told each of them..it's ok!....but i was so heart sick...to not have any of them able to attend our wedding..and Glenn and Janice had not yet met Julian.

and then, out of the blue, only 2 weeks before the wedding...Brian and Carol called!..I had not heard from them in a while..and i was missing them a lot..

and they said..hmmmm..Karen, do you think we could still find a room in Vernazza???...OMG!....i let out a little scream (ok a big scream)...and ran to get Julian.

WOW!..i was in shock and disbelief...could it be true!  Will my brother Brian and his lovely wife (my sister) Carol really come to Cinque Terre to be with us on our wedding day??  I didnt believe it until the 26th of July when i saw them..WOW!

This is the day after the wedding..this wonderful hug lasted..i'm sure an hour!!

They even look like brothers:)

To have them with us to represent our entire Costello family meant the world to me.. It was like all my siblings were there..and Mom and Dad too.  It was so wonderful to feel my family's presence!

Thank you Janice, Glenn, Brian and Carol and Joey..for your love and thoughtfulness!!

Your support means everything to all 5 of us..Julian and I and Ian, Justin and Anna!

this is the best!!..it is from Jack ..Julians Chinese colleague, in China.  Jack and i know each other well.  Jack was working on the same project, as Julian, when we met 2 years ago..and then when Julian and I went to China in May..Jack was on the project again.  So he knew about the wedding photoshoot and our engagement and everything..he knew all the secrets...

so , in the days before our wedding, Jack needed some help (and normally it would be Julian providing the info he needed)..but he didnt want to disturb us..so he sent their German boss (a rather serious business man) a work related message..

and it says:

Hi Mr.Kollmar,

I’ll go to Lee&man paper tomorrow as you commanding. But I want to know how to communicate with supervisor who can instruct me on site by phone calling or….if something emergency. except Julian because of he is in the love!

To avoid misunderstanding, can he send a detailed instruction to me regarding to the following parts.
